Hi Tumblrz, it’s that time of year for my only text post. The 4th Satanic Statement says: 

Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it not love wasted on ingrates!

There is nothing in Satanism that encourages wanton cruelty or unkindness. There is nothing productive in that, but it is also unproductive to waste your energy on people who will not appreciate or reciprocate it. Treating others as they treat you will form meaningful and productive bonds while letting parasites know that you will not waste your time with them.

The hardest lesson I learned this year, multiple times, is that few people love you unconditionally; sometimes when you need friends the most they’re unavailable. I’ve poured a lot of love and energy into people who are happy to take it without reciprocating, and it’s left me feeling like an empty shell. 

I will always treat people the way I’d want to be treated, it’s better to be putting positive energy into the world than negative, but in 2012 I want to focus on the friends who really care about being a part of my life, and will help me grow as a person. I hope I can let all the positive influencers know how much I appreciate them and make them feel loved in return, and I hope I can always be there for them in a meaningful way when they need me.
